Football.. those who dun understand it will see it as a dumb game wif 22 players fighting for a stupid ball..
10 years earlier.. everytime i watched my dad watching football.. i was dere thinking.. what is he watching for anyway?? watching 22 players chasing a ball?? how dumb it dat?? becoz i played around wif a soccer ball.. and felt pretty dumb when i couldnt control the ball.. and the ball keep going out of my reach.. it was frustrating..
but a year later in the year 2000.. my soccer-ing days REALLY started.. playing for my class at Pri4 till Pri6.. i learned the basic and experienced alot.. winning is great.. but winning it thru ur skills.. its simply the best u can get.. losing is frustrated.. but over the years.. i oso learned dat losing is nt juz nt winning the game.. but learning.. when u lose.. u tend to look at all the mistakes u haf done and all the "must happened and shouldnt happened".. and like this, u try nt to repeat the mistakes again.. and i oso learned to apply this in life.. BUT!!! this is football.. its ever changing!!! when u try to cover one mistake.. u might nt notice dat u are showing another weakness.. this is why football is interesting..
the passion of all footballers and football fans is something that is priceless.. when u shout together wif the uncles at the coffee shop.. u will realise that football is one thing that brings people of all age and race together.. when u cheer together wif all the other fans at the stadium.. THATS CALLED PASSION!!!! i simply cant forget my 1st live football i haf watched.. Singapore VS Brazil.. after the game.. a few hundred of fans where dere to see off the Singapore team and Brazilian team.. and when the gates opened for the buses to come out.. hundreds of us were singing.. OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE.. the passion and love for football and be felt!!! if u were to give me a billion dollars in exchange for that.. i would simply reject u.. dat was one of the best moments of my life..

Goalkeeper Oliver Kahn.. one of the best keeper in soccer history.. conceded only 3 goals in the 2002 word cup.. Petr Cech.. my fave keeper of all time.. Chelsea's defense is strong becoz of him..
Defenders
Center-Back John Terry.. Captain, Leader, Legend for Chelsea.. he is simply the best center back a team can get.. he is the backbone of Chelsea's excellent defense record.. and a borned leader !! Cannavaro.. The guy who leads italy to the 2006 world cup victory.. Alex.. He is totally commited to defend the goal.. and put his body on the line.. and nt to mention his talent on scoring from free-kicks wif his deadly ball.. Nemanja Vidic.. Fearless defender.. the only Alex is more daring than him.. but he can read the game better..
Right-Back Sergio Ramos.. always overlapping and always running back to do what a defender shld do.. Jose Bosingwa.. virtually a winger.. crosses the ball accurately and providing more options in his flank..
Left-Back Ashely Cole.. althou short.. but he is quickest left-back in the world.. his selfless play is what i call TEAMWORK.. Paul Konchesky.. unsung hero in the english football.. his ablilty to shoot unexpectly impressed me..
Midfielders
Defensive Midfield aka Holding Midfelder Mikel Jon Obi.. young and verstaile.. his passes are pin-point accurate and swift.. but needs more experienc.. Claude Makelele.. what more could i say of him.. a position was named after him... The Makelele Role.. reads the game better than anyone else and culprit of disabling key players..
Central Midfield Michael Ballack.. even thou he hardly scores now.. he can shackle opposing team's key players.. and both of his legs are his primary leg.. how good is dat?? Cesc Fabregas.. Young and plays beautiful football.. one of the most promising players in the world.. Deco.. his plays and set-ups are brilliant.. and nt to mention his curling free-kicks.. Michael Essien.. CenterMid, DefensiveMid, CenterBack, RightBack, LeftBack.. how many footballers can do this in modern football..?? only he can..
Right Winger.. Joe Cole.. he is my fave winger of all time.. tricky, great burst of speed.. and his determintion to get the ball is what made he great.. Cristiano Ronaldo.. who can forget about his 42 goals in the 07/08 season.. a great player if nt of his dives.. David Beckahm.. One of the most popular footballers of all time.. but his free-kicks and corners are really worth to watch.. Lionel Messi.. really.. i never seen anyone really successfully tackled him.. he is the best in the world..
Left Winger.. Arjen Robben.. this speed demon can be compared to C.Ronaldo if nt for his injuries.. he can be the best.. but too easily taken out by injuries.. Damien Duff.. quick and dribbles like the legs are his hands.. a pity that Chelsea sold him..
Attacking Midfield Frank Lampard.. Vice captain for Chelsea.. his long balls are deadly, whether its shooting or passing.. he is deadly!! Kaka.. he is the best in that position.. promising but couldnt get a good result.. Diego Ribas.. despite his size.. he can do the Saba football.. and his shot power is amazing.. when he is playing for Brazil against Singapore.. the speed of his shot is frightening.. almost LIGHTNING SPEED..
Strikers Eidur Gudjohnsen he is my fave player.. and becoz i play like him.. a striker that always defend and can push up the attack for a counter-attack.. Didier Drogba.. his physcial size and his talent to control high balls makes him a dangerous target-man.. and what makes him more dangerous is his accuracy when volleying.. Fernando Torres.. the most natural finisher of my era.. his run-ins are brilliant and well timed.. and nt to forget his speed.. Gianfranco Zola.. currenly the manager of West Ham.. during his playing days.. he is man who can do anything.. passing.. shooting.. crossing.. setting up plays.. taking freekick and corners.. MAN.. he is a legend..
